to get going.

Install and activate

1. Bhippi runs on Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit.
2. Go to bhippi.com and sign in with Google. Your dashboard shows your key and the Windows download.
3. Install Bhippi and open it.
4. Sign in with the same Google account. Bhippi activates on its own; there is nothing to copy or paste.

Use it on another PC

Each key works on two PCs. To move to a new computer, free a slot from your dashboard, then sign in on the new PC.

Bhippi keeps working for 14 days without an internet connection, then needs to check in once.

Connect your AI

Open Settings › AI Providers and choose how Bhippi AI thinks:

• A coding CLI you already use, such as Claude Code, Codex or Gemini CLI. Sign in to it once and Bhippi uses it.
• An API key from your provider. It is stored in the Windows Credential Manager, never in your project files.
• A local model with Ollama or LM Studio, so nothing leaves your PC.

Bigger models handle long, complex films best, and Bhippi is built so smaller and local models can still make a proper edit. Your provider's charges are separate from Bhippi.

Make your first video

1. Create a project and import your footage, or drop it into the project folder.
2. In the chat, describe the video: what it is for, how long, the mood and the pace.
3. Bhippi AI plans the edit, gathers what it needs, and builds it on the timeline.
4. Review it like any edit. Move, trim or replace anything, ask for changes in the chat, and undo any step.
5. Export when you are happy with it.

Edit in the style of a reference

Attach a reference video, or paste its link, and say what to take from it. Bhippi studies it frame by frame (the cuts, the pace, the type, the motion) and rebuilds your video in a similar style with its own tools.

Write prompts that work

• Say who the video is for and where it will be posted.
• Give the length, the format (landscape or vertical) and the mood.
• Name what must be in it: a product shot, a logo at the end, captions.
• For a precise change, select the clip or mark the frame, then ask about just that.

Plugins

Open the Plugins panel to install plugins other people have published, build your own, or publish yours for everyone. Plugins are reviewed before they are listed.

Updates

When a new version is out, a download button appears at the bottom of the projects panel. Click it to download the update, then install it when you are ready; Bhippi saves your project first. You can also turn on automatic downloads in Settings.

If something goes wrong

• Bhippi AI does not answer. Check that your provider is signed in or that its API key is valid in Settings › AI Providers. A local model must be running.
• "No slots left" on a new PC. Free one from your dashboard.
• An export or a tool fails. Open Settings › FFmpeg & Media to check that FFmpeg is found.
• Anything else. Use Settings › Help & feedback › Report a problem. It sends what is needed to fix it, and you choose whether to include a screenshot.
